Due to my full-time job and other non-bookish responsibilities, I am currently not accepting any books for review. However, I still do promotional posts/projects for books that I am interested on reading.

I am accepting books in exchange of an honest and fair review. It can be ARC’s (Advanced Reader’s Copy) or published novels in any format, eBooks or physical books. If the book is part of a series that I’ve not read yet, I would appreciate if you would send me the other books as well. Please take note that I am living here in Germany so if you’re planning to send a physical copy, you need to send me an email first at kathlau.reads@gmail.com so I can provide my mailing information, if needed.

I read Young Adult, Adult, New Adult, Middle Grade, Contemporary, Realistic Fiction, Non-Fiction, Graphic Novel, Crime, Horror/Thriller, Mystery, Suspence and Self-help. I’m also willing to explore other genres.

My reviews are 100% fair and based on my honest opinions. If in case I don’t like the book or to continue reading it, I would still give a review and my reasons but I’ll make sure that it will not affect or influence the others because we have different opinions.

Aside from this blog, the reviews will also be posted on my other accounts such as Storygraph, Goodreads and Instagram account.

Rating System

The rating system I’m using is pretty common. I do not rate books when I didn’t finish (dnf-ed) them. I always add a disclaimer on my reviews. I don’t consider myself as a professional book reviewer but I can assure you that I’ll give my 100% honest and fair opinions. I do not include spoilers because I myself hate them. If I do, I make sure that there’s a warning in the beginning.
